Founder | Lead Photographer
Janis himself is an architectural photographer based in Riga, Latvia.
Having received formal training as an architect in Riga, Rome, and Strasbourg, following the completion of his studies, he chose to commit himself to the field of photography fully. Opting to shift his focus from constructing physical structures to crafting visual representations, he perceives the image as a pivotal outcome of an artistically driven process. This process not only involves documenting the built environment but also conveying a nuanced meaning through the imagery itself.

Great architectural photos! Details are highlighted, the most important things are shown, the mood is created. Very good sense of space. I am very pleased with the result, very good presentation of the objects, thanks to wonderful images.
Ilze Jansone, Project Manager, DUAL arhitekti
As a photographer, I’m often reluctant to delegate, but I knew this required a specialized architectural style. That’s why I reached out to Janis. From the start, the collaboration felt seamless. We planned every detail together, ensuring the shoot was efficient and well-prepared. On the day, Janis brought a calm focus, and we captured all the shots we needed. The post-production process was equally smooth, with thoughtful attention to detail. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking exceptional interior and architectural photography.
Andra Marte Babre, Project Manager, Creative Tuesdays, Magnetic Tables
Janis Veveris photographs reflect the changes that have taken place in the Youth Space of the National Library of Latvia. They not only highlight the creativity that is evident in the innovative products of the Young Architects Club member, but also celebrate the architectural nuances and the flow of light that Gunars Birkerts has integrated into the LNB project, creating a harmonious composition.
